Born in Jamaica, Pat began singing at 15 in Trinidad where he formed a trio called the Canaries who won an Island wide televised contest "Scouting for Talent" pre US AI- He returned to his native Jamaica eventually migrating to Toronto where he played with some of Toronto's top musicians.
